here are a couple kid stories i have been meaning to share.
zach started reading a book about the wright brothers with my dad. it was a book my dad read when he was little. my dad thought zach would enjoy because he wants to be a pilot when he grows up. i asked him if he was reading the book or if papa was helping him and he said, "well, papa holds it." the kid is a reading machine right now. he has been reading everything he can get his hands on.
ellora told me the other day she needed some reading glasses like grammy. and i told her she could see fine and didn't need glasses. then she looks at me and says, "but i can't read." she is a funny little girl. when i went to help in her class a few of the boys told me ellora was really funny. (anyone know where i can get some with clear lenses for her for christmas?)
landon is definitely one to let you know when he wants something or is unhappy about something. the other day he was trying to open the kid craft/coloring drawer and he couldn't get it open so he sat there pulling and grunting and then he started yelling, "mommy open!" a little while later while we were setting the table he started pulling one of the chairs from the kitchen table around saying, "sit, eat, sit, eat." he wasn't interested in sitting in his high chair. he wanted to be up at the table with everyone else. so we got him a booster seat at the table and he loved it. he is talking so much, it is so fun to see his personality coming out if full force!
just a cute picture from the other night!
